Our Story
At Drink Cello, limoncello is more than just a drink, it’s part of our family heritage. Growing up in an Italian household, crema di limoncello was always present around the dinner table, at family gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions. It became a tradition that brought everyone together, with its refreshing taste and deep connection to Italian culture and hospitality.
Our family roots come from Molise, a beautiful rural region tucked away in the Italian countryside, specifically the towns of Venafro and Rocca Pipirozzi. We were brought up surrounded by homemade food, fresh produce, and ingredients grown from our own land. Quality, freshness, and family tradition have always been at the heart of everything we do.
Our family recipe has been passed down through generations, preserving the authentic flavours and traditions that inspired Drink Cello today. Every bottle is a celebration of our upbringing, our culture, and the moments shared with family and friends.
Now, founders Ivana and Riccardo, proud second-generation Italians living in Scotland, want to share that heritage and passion with the UK. Drink Cello was created to bring people together in the same way it did for us growing up, combining Italian tradition with Scottish craftsmanship to create a smooth, refreshing crema di limoncello made for sharing, celebrating, and creating memories.
